CHRONIC RENAL INSUFFICIENCY:

The majority of CRI dogs suffer from inapetency or anorexia due to the effect of uremic toxins on the gastrointestinal mucosa. Protein catabolism during inapetency increases the production of uremic toxins and worsens the condition. It is necessary to maintain food intake and gradually transition from the previous diet to Brit VD Renal Dog. Wet food even improves palatability and acceptance of new diet.

Method of use:

Consult the use of Brit VD dietetic food with your veterinarian – if combined with dry food Brit VD Dog Grain Free Renal, reduce daily dose accordingly. Use initially for a period of up to 6 months, it is recommended that a veterinarian´s opinion be sought before use or before extending the period of use. Your dog’s weight and condition must be regularly checked by a veterinarian. Ensure your dog has access to fresh drinking water at all times. Store in a cool and dry place. Once the can is opened, keep in the fridge and use within 2 days.
